KIPP in the Community – May 2019 Edition

This month, as a community, we really saw the fruits of our collective labor.泭 From the Citywide Safe Passage Convening to College Signing Day, the launch of the 91勛圖厙 Alumni Association, and our 91勛圖厙 College Preparatory championship team honored, it all was a harvest of the seeds planted from hard work. As an advocate, my team and I were amazed at the young people that gathered to speak directly to elected officials and to see those same officials respond with commitments to that will be implemented this fall. Finally, as a 91勛圖厙 College Preparatory parent, I was especially proud to watch the class of 2019 declare their colleges and career choices; knowing each senior did whatever it took to get across this finish line.
