Equity Work in Action

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Professional Development

Diversity, equity, and inclusion learning is a key component of our staff’s experience and the work we do for our students and families. Staff regularly engage throughout the year in professional development and learning on diversity, equity, and inclusion topics through designated Development and Wellness days, summer professional development, and other opportunities throughout the year to ensure we continue to promote anti-racist and anti-bias practices across our organization.

Culturally Responsive Curriculum & Instructional Practices

What we teach and how we teach matters. 91³Ô¹ÏÍø is committed to learning experiences that celebrate and empower our students’ identities, and promoting anti-racist and anti-bias practices in our classrooms. In partnership with students and families, teachers and leader working groups across our organization continue to examine our curriculum and instructional practices to create a more culturally relevant and responsive curriculum. Our staff engage in the development of culturally and linguistically responsive teaching strategies and focus on methods that engage students through a trauma-informed and healing-centered lens.
