AcademicsÌý

Teachers analyze student work and student data daily to inform how they support our 5th-12th grade students in small groups and as individuals. The Virtual Learning Program model combines live math, science, reading, writing, and social studies classes with enrichment classes, activities, and clubs from 8 am-3 pm daily. In addition, the Virtual Learning Program is proud to offer 8th-grade algebra to select and interested students.

Virtual Classroom

Every Virtual Learning Program student is provided with a Chromebook, headphones, and school supplies to ensure no barriers to their success. Live classes, taught by 91³Ô¹ÏÍø teachers, invite and encourage students to be comfortable and confident in learning, taking risks, and sharing their voices and ideas. In addition, there is a focus on critical thinking, problem-solving, group and partner work, and feedback to support students’ academic growth in the program.

Community

In the Virtual Learning Program, families get the opportunity to participate in monthly in-person family events, monthly field trips, and optional weekly in-person study sessions on-site with Virtual Learning Program staff. In addition, the full-time on-site manager of student success is accessible.
